Going Green & RoHS Compliance

NIC Global is committed to protecting the environment. We meet RoHS guidelines by eliminating all chromate processing of parts. No hazardous wastes are created in the cleaning and chemical processing of parts as of June 2006.

In addition to the European RoHS requirements, NIC Global is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements for clean water and air. Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has stringent guidelines for air quality, and NIC Global meets those requirements.

The Pacific Northwest has a reputation for tough environmental standards, and rightly so. We’re also committed to recycling as a means to make even greater use of our natural resources. In 2007, NIC Global recycled 368 tons of aluminum, 270 tons of steel, as well as stainless steel, brass and non-metals such as cardboard and fiberboard. NIC Global recycles more tonnage each year than some companies produce in finished goods.
